Accounting Manager

About the role

Cognaize Engineering LLC is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead daily financial operations and month‑end closing across its holding entities. You will oversee accounts receivable, drive intercompany reconciliations, and ensure IFRS‑compliant reporting while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations across holding entities, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
• Manage Accounts Receivable, including invoicing, collections, aging analysis and reconciliations.
• Execute accurate month‑end and year‑end closing processes.
• Prepare and review financial statements and consolidated reports in compliance with IFRS and local requirements.
• Coordinate group accounting activities, intercompany reconciliations and external audits.
• Maintain strong internal controls and regulatory compliance.
• Drive process improvements, automation and effective use of ERP and reporting tools.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to support management decisions.
• Collaborate with FP&A, Tax, HR and Operations on invoicing, forecasting and strategic initiatives.
• Lead, coach and develop accounting teams, promoting accuracy and continuous improvement.
• Support finance transformation, system implementation and other strategic projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting, including consolidation and month/year‑end closing.
• Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA or equivalent is an advantage.
• Excellent communication skills, attention to detail and high integrity.
