Business and Financial Analyst

About the role

Digitain is seeking an experienced and passionate Business and Financial Analyst to join its Business and Financial Analysis Department in Yerevan. The role focuses on cost optimisation, financial forecasting and data‑driven decision support.

Key responsibilities

• Assess monthly partner‑related costs, conduct reviews and initiate corrective actions to optimise expenditures.
• Prepare periodic and ad‑hoc reports for management.
• Support decision‑making through comprehensive cost‑benefit analyses.
• Execute monthly, quarterly and annual cost forecasting and monitoring activities.
• Monitor contractual processes and standard calculation methodologies to minimise overall cost impact.
• Automate report preparation and calculations to reduce time, human error and operational risk.
• Present proposals aimed at cost reduction and increased profitability.
• Conduct market research to support data‑driven business planning.
• Perform other functions assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Required profile

• Graduate degree in Finance, Mathematics or a related field.
• Advanced knowledge of Russian and English languages.
• Proven experience as an analyst, cost specialist or in a similar role.
• Strong analytical skills with great attention to detail.
• Good communication aptitude.

Required skills

• Advanced practical knowledge of MS Excel.
• Proficiency with Power BI.
• SQL for data extraction and analysis.
