C# Software Engineer (CRM)

About the role

SoftConstruct is looking for a C# Software Engineer to join its team. The role involves developing, maintaining and improving software products and systems, including microservice-based components, in an Agile environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, test, debug, implement and document software programs according to technical requirements.
• Modify and maintain existing company products and internal or client systems to meet business needs.
• Analyse, evaluate and improve current system functionality and performance.
• Take part in designing and building microservice-based components and scalable architectures.
• Design and implement database schemas, queries and optimisations using SQL Server and/or NoSQL databases.
• Create and run test plans to verify application accuracy and functionality.
• Support CI/CD processes and keep version-controlled code up to date.
• Document development processes and share technical knowledge with the team.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related technical field.
• At least 3 years of experience as a software developer using C# and .NET.
• Ability to work independently or in a collaborative team under project-based deadlines.

Required skills

• C#.NET Framework, ASP.NET, Entity Framework and MSSQL Server.
• Object-oriented programming, design patterns and microservices architecture.
• Version control (Git or Subversion).
• Software testing principles; TDD experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of .NET Core, ASP.NET Web API, WPF and Xamarin is a plus.
