Chief Financial Officer

About the role

The Chief Financial Officer will lead the strategic management of the bank's financial resources, ensuring liquidity, capital adequacy, and robust budgeting while driving investment activities and financial stability.

Key responsibilities

• Formulate and execute capital raising strategies and manage relationships with international investors and financial institutions.
• Oversee the financial reporting framework, ensuring data accuracy, regulatory compliance, and alignment with IFRS and Basel standards.
• Direct financial policy, asset‑liability management, expense control, and long‑term financial planning in line with the bank’s strategy.
• Manage tax processes, internal controls, and financial operations, including automation and optimization initiatives.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Applied Mathematics, Statistics or related field.
• 8‑10 years of experience in banking, investment, insurance, auditing or consulting, with at least 5 years in a senior managerial role.
• Proven experience in financial process automation or optimization.

Required skills

• Mandatory: CFA charterholder or FCCA/ACCA membership.
• Preferred: FRM, EFPA certifications, deep knowledge of IFRS and Basel standards, strong command of English (C1 level).
