Commercial & Financial Analyst

About the role

Equiti is looking for a detail‑oriented Commercial & Financial Analyst to join its Data department in Yerevan. You will own recurring commercial and financial reporting, support automated finance processes, and provide insight‑driven analysis for senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Produce recurring commercial and financial reports on sales targets, revenue, cost and margin using certified semantic models.
• Validate and automate end‑of‑quarter finance outputs, replacing manual files where possible.
• Analyse commercial performance across products, regions and client segments, identifying trends, risks and opportunities.
• Partner with Sales management to translate targets and incentive logic into clear, certified metrics.
• Collaborate with Finance on cost allocation, margin methodology and group reporting definitions.
• Build Power BI dashboards and analyses for executive, regional and sales‑management audiences.
• Leverage AI‑assisted tools to accelerate analysis and draft commentary while ensuring final insight accuracy.
• Maintain rigorous documentation of metric definitions and assumptions.
• Respond to ad‑hoc commercial and financial queries from leadership with fast, well‑founded analysis.

Required profile

• Strong commercial and financial acumen, comfortable with P&L structure, revenue drivers, unit economics and margin analysis.
• Analytical rigor with large datasets and complex business logic.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, able to turn analysis into a narrative for senior audiences.
• Effective stakeholder management across Sales, Finance and executive teams.
• High attention to detail and ownership of number accuracy.

Required skills

• 4+ years of commercial experience in BI development or analytics with hands‑on Power BI delivery.
• Data modelling with Tabular models and advanced DAX in production reports.
• Strong MS SQL Server / T‑SQL experience; familiarity with SSIS or modern pipeline tooling such as Azure Data Factory or Fabric.
