Customer Onboarding Specialist

About the role

Buildern, the leading construction management platform, is seeking a Customer Onboarding Specialist to guide new builders through the onboarding journey, configure the software to match their workflows, and ensure they achieve early value from the solution.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end onboarding process from kickoff to go‑live, acting as the primary contact until customers are self‑sufficient.
• Map each client’s workflows, configure Buildern, import and QA data, and support QuickBooks/Xero connections.
• Deliver comprehensive training on core modules and track time‑to‑first‑value milestones.
• Remove blockers, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with Support and Product teams to turn feedback into improvements.
• Transition to Account Owner after onboarding, scheduling regular check‑ins to maintain satisfaction and retention.

Required profile

• 2–3 years in a B2B SaaS customer‑facing role (Onboarding, Implementation, CSM or Support).
• Proven ability to teach live sessions and create clear follow‑up documentation or short videos.
• Empathetic, proactive communicator with strong ownership mindset.
• Familiarity with construction trade workflows and basic accounting concepts.
