Design Engineer – Solar Panel Development

About the role

We are looking for a Design Engineer to join our Yerevan team and lead the development of solar panel and system designs. The role is full‑time, on‑site and focuses on turning concepts into detailed technical solutions that meet performance and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Create and refine mechanical and electrical designs for solar panels using CAD tools.
• Perform engineering calculations to validate design feasibility and safety.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including manufacturing, R&D and quality, to ensure designs align with project specifications.
• Document design specifications, drawings and test procedures.
• Support prototype testing and iterate designs based on feedback.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
• Prior experience in solar energy projects or manufacturing is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and meet project deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
• Mechanical engineering fundamentals.
• Electrical engineering fundamentals.
• Product design and development experience.
• Knowledge of renewable energy systems is a plus.
