DevSecOps Engineer

About the role

Artest is looking for a DevSecOps Engineer to shape and advance the security culture across its development pipelines. You will work closely with the DevOps team to embed security best‑practices into cloud native environments and ensure robust protection of services.

Key responsibilities

• Define a DevSecOps roadmap and drive cultural adoption within the company.
• Secure Istio and ServiceMesh configurations and harden Kubernetes (EKS) clusters.
• Collaborate with DevOps engineers, provide training, and transfer security responsibilities.
• Implement OPA policies and virtualization security analysers.
• Integrate security checks into CI/CD pipelines using Terraform, Ansible, and related tools.
• Deploy security scanners and automate security processes throughout the development lifecycle.

Required profile

• Solid understanding of DevOps principles (CI/CD) and microservice architectures.
• Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes or other orchestration platforms.
• Proficiency with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or Chef.
• Background in web server and database administration.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI model, and cloud security (AWS, GCP).
• Experience assessing infrastructure for security risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
