Electro-Mechanical Fitter

About the role

We are looking for an Electro-Mechanical Fitter to join our team at ContourGlobal’s hydro‑power facilities in Tatev. You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing electromechanical and hydraulic equipment to ensure reliable plant operation.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out technical works on electromechanical and hydraulic equipment of hydro‑power plants, reservoirs and hydraulic facilities.
• Perform maintenance, reconstruction, assembly, disassembly, adjustment, testing and calibration of hydroturbines, auxiliary equipment, pumps and related mechanisms.
• Identify equipment defects, determine root causes, assess wear levels and define repair or recovery options.
• Check the operation of main and auxiliary equipment after repair and commissioning.
• Assist in defect detection, report malfunctions to management and participate in corrective works.
• Load, unload and transport equipment and materials; support construction‑related activities.
• Report completed tasks to the immediate supervisor and propose technical solutions to improve performance.

Required profile

• Proven experience with electromechanical and hydraulic maintenance in power generation environments.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, sketches and engineering drawings.
• Strong problem‑solving skills for diagnosing equipment issues.
• Willingness to work onsite in a hydro‑power setting and follow safety procedures.
