Finance Specialist – Internal Financial Control

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Finance Specialist to join a tourism company in Yerevan. The role focuses on internal financial control of tourist transactions, ensuring accurate monitoring of cash flows, payments and reconciliations.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor customer inflows and outgoing payments.
• Reconcile bank and cash entries with internal records.
• Oversee the financial cycle of tours from sale to final closing.
• Verify payments to partners, hotels and service providers.
• Identify duplicate, erroneous or non‑conforming payments.
• Track internal calculations, pre‑payments and liabilities.
• Collect, organise and forward documentation to the external accountant.
• Provide information on open transactions, unreceived funds and pending payments.
• Detect financial non‑conformities and report them to responsible parties.

Required profile

• Education or knowledge in accounting, finance, economics or a related field.
• Understanding of basic accounting and financial transaction principles.
• Ability to interpret entries, exits, pre‑payments and settlements.
• Strong numerical attention and detail orientation.
• Responsibility, systematic work style and high integrity.
• Capability to maintain confidentiality of financial information.

Required skills

• Practical knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
