Host/Hostess – Food & Beverage

About the role

The Courtyard by Marriott Yerevan is seeking a warm, energetic, and guest‑focused Host/Hostess to be the welcoming face of its restaurant. You will ensure every guest feels valued from the moment they arrive until they leave.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome and warmly greet every guest
• Manage reservations, walk‑ins, and the waiting list
• Escort guests to their tables and provide menus
• Ensure a smooth and pleasant guest experience from arrival to departure
• Coordinate closely with waiters, managers, and other departments
• Answer guest questions and handle requests professionally
• Manage restaurant calls and reservations
• Maintain an organized and welcoming host/hostess station
• Support the team during busy service periods

Required profile

• Previous hospitality or customer‑service experience is an advantage
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluent English; Armenian and/or Russian is an advantage
• Friendly, confident, and professional personality
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Genuine passion for hospitality and guest service
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays
