National Director

About the role

As National Director, you will drive World Vision Armenia’s mission and strategic direction, overseeing overall performance and day‑to‑day operations while ensuring financial and operational sustainability.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Senior Leadership Team and staff, aligning them with World Vision’s Global Partnership Strategy and organizational goals.
• Represent World Vision to donors, project partners, government, church representatives and NGOs, and support the WVA Board.
• Ensure the organization is financially viable, compliant with policies, and structured for impact.
• Provide spiritual guidance and uphold Christian leadership values.

Required profile

• 10+ years senior leadership experience in international NGOs with transformational development programming.
• Proven track record in grant acquisition and management.
• Strong knowledge of the humanitarian sector and donor community.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in Armenian and English.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Required skills

• Program assessment, design, implementation, monitoring, evaluation and report writing.
• Design and facilitation of training programs.
