Project Assistant

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking a Project Assistant to support the implementation of migration‑related projects in Armenia. Working under the Head of Office and the Project Coordinator, you will contribute to the delivery of humanitarian and development activities that assist migrants, refugees, and other vulnerable groups.

Key responsibilities

• Provide administrative and logistical support for project activities, including scheduling, documentation, and reporting.
• Coordinate communication with governmental authorities, UN agencies, NGOs, and other stakeholders.
• Assist in organizing workshops, trainings, and field missions.
• Maintain project files, databases, and records in accordance with IOM standards.
• Support the preparation of project reports, briefs, and presentations.

Required profile

• School diploma with at least four years of relevant experience, or a bachelor’s degree in political/social sciences, international relations, development, migration studies, human rights, law, or a related field with two years of experience.
• Experience liaising with government bodies, UN agencies, NGOs, and working with migrants, refugees, IDPs, or trafficking victims.
• Prior experience in an international humanitarian or multicultural environment is an advantage.
