Risk Manager – Central Bank

About the role

The Central Bank is seeking a Risk Manager to lead the identification, assessment, and mitigation of non‑financial risks. You will work closely with risk owners and various departments to ensure robust risk controls and timely incident handling.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, review and maintain policies, procedures and methodologies for risk and incident management.
• Support risk owners in risk identification, RCSA assessments, registration and the design, implementation and monitoring of controls.
• Analyse incidents, propose corrective actions and follow‑up on resolution.
• Review risk registers and reports from relevant units, consolidating information on risks, controls and incidents.
• Prepare and present risk‑related reports for senior management.

Required profile

• Higher education in economics, finance, risk management, audit or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in risk management, audit or a similar role within the financial sector.
• Fluency in Armenian and excellent command of English.
• Strong communication, analytical thinking and teamwork abilities.
