Senior Data Engineer (GCP)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our growing Data Engineering and Analytics department. The role focuses on designing and developing advanced data solutions on Google Cloud Platform for complex customer environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable data solutions on GCP, including data lakes, lakehouses, and cloud‑based data warehouses.
• Lead technical design and implementation of customer data projects, translating business and technical requirements into effective architectures.
• Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for batch and real‑time workloads, handling structured, semi‑structured, and unstructured data.
• Implement data quality, monitoring, governance, and orchestration processes while collaborating with data architects, engineers, DevOps, analysts, and stakeholders.

Required profile

• At least 5 years of professional experience as a Data Engineer.
• Hands‑on experience developing data solutions on GCP.
• Strong Python development skills and high proficiency in SQL.
• Fluent English and ability to work independently across multiple projects.

Required skills

• Google Cloud services: BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Dataproc, Cloud Composer, Cloud Run, Cloud Functions.
• Data modeling, orchestration, and performance optimization.
• ETL/ELT tools such as dbt, Dataform, Rivery.
• CI/CD, Git, Infrastructure as Code, and production deployment practices.
• Experience with data visualization tools (Looker, Power BI, Tableau, QuickSight).
