Senior product data scientist

About the role

The BidSwitch Data Science team is looking for a senior product data scientist to own the analytical side of its high‑frequency programmatic trading platform. You will work closely with ML researchers to understand model performance in production, uncover hidden inefficiencies and drive concrete fixes that improve profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse hardware unit‑costs, financial forecasts and ensure each processed bid request is profitable.
• Identify and remediate inefficiencies in traffic, bid‑stream spikes, supply‑path routing and latency, quantifying the dollar impact of each change.
• Design, run and own A/B tests from experiment design through rollout and impact assessment.
• Partner with data scientists to investigate model performance, drill down to partner‑level metrics and turn findings into research cases.
• Automate recurring manual checks, build monitoring dashboards and tooling to surface performance insights.
• Provide evidence‑based answers and proactive insights to product, R&D, TAM and client‑services teams.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience analysing large‑scale production systems and trading economics.
• Proven ability to detect, quantify and ship fixes for cost or performance inefficiencies.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on measurable business impact.
• Excellent communication skills for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
