Senior Tax Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Tax Specialist to join our International Finance Department in Yerevan. The role involves managing complex tax matters across borders and supporting the company’s growth through strategic tax planning.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and file corporate tax returns, including transfer pricing reports, in collaboration with external consultants.
• Analyze tax implications of cross‑border operations and advise management on tax‑efficient structures.
• Liaise with external tax advisors and authorities on international tax issues.
• Support internal and external tax audits and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
• Monitor new international tax legislation and assess its impact on the business.
• Develop and implement tax policies, controls, and documentation for audits.
• Provide tax‑related input on mergers, acquisitions, and international expansion projects.
• Coordinate tax consolidation and reporting with finance teams in other jurisdictions.
• Review contracts for tax risks and optimization opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field (Master’s or ACCA preferred).
• 3‑5 years of professional tax experience.
• Fluent in Armenian, English and Russian.
• Strong knowledge of corporate, income and VAT tax regulations and IFRS tax reporting.
• Excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and within cross‑functional teams.
