Senior US/Staff Accountant (Armenia)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior US/Staff Accountant to join our finance team in Armenia. The role involves maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with US GAAP, and supporting projects for US‑based clients.

Key responsibilities

• Perform bank reconciliations using QuickBooks and other accounting software.
• Prepare and post journal entries, invoices, checks, and related financial reports.
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP and company policies.
• Conduct monthly closing entries and reconcile balance‑sheet accounts.
• Process large volumes of transactions within deadlines.
• Collaborate with US clients, providing accounting support and expertise.
• Handle client onboarding, including data migration and system setup.
• Assist with audits, tax preparation, and financial analysis as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and its practical application.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines.
