Technical Analyst – Innovation & SDG Finance Portfolio

About the role

The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Innovation and SDG Finance Portfolio is looking for a Technical Analyst to support the day‑to‑day technical coordination of two flagship initiatives in Armenia: Organics Mobilized and Green and Digital Cities. The role will ensure high‑quality delivery, facilitate stakeholder engagement, and contribute to adaptive learning across the projects.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate technical activities for the Organics Mobilized and Green and Digital Cities initiatives, ensuring alignment with project timelines and objectives.
• Conduct quality assurance reviews of deliverables, data collection tools, and reporting formats.
• Engage with municipal authorities, private sector partners, academia, and civil‑society groups to gather inputs and foster collaboration.
• Monitor progress, prepare status updates, and support the development of monitoring, reporting, and verification (MRV) systems.
• Assist in the preparation of policy guidance, financing pathways, and replication strategies for circular bio‑economy and climate‑smart urban transformation.

Required profile

• University degree in environmental science, engineering, economics, public policy, or a related field.
• Relevant experience in project coordination, climate‑smart resource management, circular economy, or urban transformation initiatives.
• Familiarity with municipal service delivery, stakeholder engagement, and development financing mechanisms.
