Technical Product Manager

About the role

Buildern is the leading construction‑management platform helping residential and commercial builders manage projects from estimating to financials. The Technical Product Manager will translate product opportunities into detailed, implementation‑ready specifications and partner with engineering, design, QA and other teams to deliver high‑quality features.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Customer Success, Support, Sales and customers to gather pain points, conduct interviews and validate requirements.
• Research market trends, competitor products and AI developments to identify improvement opportunities.
• Write clear user stories, business rules, workflows, acceptance criteria and edge cases, and create supporting wireframes or process flows.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Design and QA throughout development, clarify requirements and review completed work.
• Maintain a prioritized backlog, improve documentation processes and leverage AI tools to boost productivity.

Required profile

• 3+ years of product management, technical product management, product ownership or business analysis experience in a B2B SaaS environment.
• Proven ability to produce detailed product requirements, functional specifications and acceptance criteria.
• Strong analytical mindset, data‑driven decision making and experience with financial workflows or ERP‑type software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, stakeholder management and collaboration with engineering teams.

Required skills

• Jira, Confluence and Figma for collaboration and documentation.
