Due Diligence Specialist

About the role

SoftConstruct is looking for a proactive Due Diligence Specialist to join its legal and compliance team. You will be responsible for conducting thorough due‑diligence checks, maintaining accurate records, and supporting the legal department in various compliance activities.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct due‑diligence checks, review corporate documents and screen individual customers for legal and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain and update due‑diligence records, manage legal databases and ensure documents are properly categorized and accessible.
• Assist in drafting, proofreading and reviewing legal documents under attorney supervision.
• Monitor compliance requirements, maintain compliance calendars and respond to compliance‑related inquiries.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, Finance or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in legal, compliance or due‑diligence roles.
• Strong knowledge of due‑diligence procedures, corporate legal documentation and data‑protection regulations such as GDPR.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with legal database management tools.
• Familiarity with Jira, Dow Jones and international company registries.
