Global Category Manager IT

About the role

TeamViewer is looking for a Global Category Manager – IT to lead strategic procurement of hardware, software and services worldwide. You will shape the IT sourcing landscape, drive cost efficiencies and ensure innovative, future‑ready solutions for the company.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive category strategy for IT hardware, software and services.
• Identify savings opportunities, drive cost‑reduction initiatives and improve process efficiency across global, regional and site levels.
• Lead complex sourcing projects, negotiate high‑impact contracts and manage supplier relationships.
• Collaborate with IT, R&D, Finance, Legal and other stakeholders to align sourcing with business needs.
• Integrate sustainability, compliance and risk management into procurement decisions.
• Monitor market trends, supplier performance and innovation to continuously improve the category.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional experience in strategic procurement and category management, preferably in IT or technology sectors.
• Proven track record of managing global IT hardware, software and services categories.
• Strong negotiation skills and experience with complex contract negotiations.
• Ability to work with cross‑functional teams and influence senior leadership.
