About the role

The ID Bank is seeking an experienced professional to join its Operational Risk Management department as a Senior Specialist. The role focuses on identifying, assessing, monitoring, and mitigating operational risks across the bank's business processes.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze business processes to identify, evaluate, classify, and continuously monitor operational risks.
• Maintain a database of operational risk loss events, ensuring accurate registration, analysis, classification, and reporting in relevant information systems.
• Organize and manage the Risk and Control Self‑Assessment (RCSA) process in collaboration with bank divisions.
• Assess the effectiveness of existing control mechanisms and propose improvements to reduce risk.
• Develop and monitor Key Risk Indicators (KRI) at the process level, recommending actions when thresholds are breached.
• Perform operational risk assessments for new or changed processes, products, and systems before implementation.
• Prepare periodic risk reports for internal and external stakeholders and conduct employee awareness initiatives.

Required profile

• University degree in Economics, Finance, Banking or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the financial‑banking sector, preferably in risk management.
• Proficiency in Armenian, Russian and English.
• Strong communication, analytical thinking, teamwork, and problem‑solving abilities.
• High sense of responsibility, accuracy and adherence to business ethics.

Required skills

• Advanced knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel.
