Head of Finances and Accounting

About the role

The Head of Finances and Accounting will lead all financial functions for the upcoming Wyndham Grand Tsaghkadzor luxury resort. Reporting to senior management, this senior professional will ensure financial integrity, regulatory compliance, and provide strategic insights to support the hotel’s growth and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Develop annual budgets, forecasts and long‑term financial plans.
• Monitor financial performance, analyse variances and present recommendations to improve profitability.
• Prepare financial models to support investment and business decisions.
• Produce monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and ensure timely reporting.
• Maintain compliance with accounting standards, local tax laws and financial regulations.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and implement robust internal controls.
• Manage daily cash flow, liquidity, banking relationships and working‑capital requirements.
• Lead the budgeting process across all departments and drive cost‑optimization initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in senior finance or accounting leadership, preferably within hospitality or a related sector.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business recommendations.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting financial information to senior management and owners.
• In‑depth knowledge of accounting standards, tax regulations and audit processes.
• Demonstrated ability to manage cash flow, budgeting and financial planning in a fast‑growing environment.
