International Financial Accounting & Control Specialist

About the role

The Senior Financial Accounting and Control Specialist will ensure accurate financial reporting, robust reconciliations, and compliance with IFRS for our international finance department. You will play a pivotal role in month‑end and year‑end close processes, supporting audits and driving continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
• Perform detailed reconciliations of bank, balance‑sheet and intercompany accounts.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in financial records.
• Lead month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and internal policies.
• Assist internal and external auditors with documentation and explanations.
• Analyze financial data to provide insights for management decisions.
• Identify and implement process improvements for reporting and reconciliation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in financial reporting and reconciliations.
• Professional certification such as ACCA or equivalent.
• Fluent in English and Russian (written and spoken).
• Experience in a multinational or large corporate environment.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems and accounting software.
• Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Familiarity with automation tools and data‑analytics platforms.
