Machine Learning Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to join our global Manufacturing Software Development team. You will research, develop, validate, and deploy advanced ML solutions for complex manufacturing systems and CAD/CAM applications that support the production of custom medical devices.

Key responsibilities

• Research, evaluate, and apply state‑of‑the‑art machine learning techniques to improve medical device manufacturing processes.
• Design, develop, and optimize deep learning models for 3D meshes, images, and structured data.
• Develop multimodal AI solutions that combine multiple data sources.
• Validate models, analyze performance, investigate errors, and drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with software engineers, architects, and product teams to integrate models into 3D CAD/CAM systems.
• Maintain robust ML development and experimentation workflows throughout the model lifecycle.

Required profile

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, AI, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Data Science, or related field.
• 4‑6 years of industry experience developing and deploying machine learning solutions.
• Strong background in deep learning for computer vision or geometric processing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (B2+).

• Strong mathematical foundation (linear algebra, optimization, probability, statistics)
• Experience with C++ integration and 3D CAD/CAM systems (preferred)
