Project Management and Delivery Director

About the role

We are seeking a seasoned Project Management and Delivery Director to lead our Project Management Directorate. You will ensure that our project and program portfolio aligns with strategic objectives and is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the Project Management Directorate strategy in line with business goals.
• Oversee the entire project and program portfolio, handling prioritization, dependencies, investment decisions, and value realization.
• Partner with executive leadership to create business cases, roadmaps, objectives, and OKRs.
• Establish unified governance, methodologies, standards, reporting, and control mechanisms.
• Align value streams, architectural dependencies, and external partnerships for seamless delivery.
• Monitor scope, timelines, budgets, resources, quality, risks, and outcomes to ensure predictable delivery.
• Drive continuous improvement of processes, tools, and post‑go‑live stability.
• Provide data‑driven portfolio performance reports and recommendations to leadership.
• Lead strategic transformation initiatives and stakeholder engagement.
• Identify inefficiencies and champion process redesign and automation.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in program/project management, including leadership of large‑scale initiatives.
• Proven track record managing enterprise‑level portfolios, strategic dependencies, budgets, and investment priorities.
• Strong commercial experience covering presales scope, contract and SLA management, and transition to operations.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business strategy into delivery priorities.
• Visionary leader comfortable in complex, uncertain environments.

Required skills

• Large‑scale Agile frameworks such as SAFe or LeSS.
• Jira, Confluence, BigPicture, Jira Advanced Roadmaps.
• Power BI or equivalent reporting/financial tools.
