QA Engineer – 12‑Month Contract (Remote)

About the role

Insense is seeking a full‑time QA Engineer on a 12‑month contract to ensure the quality and reliability of its creator‑marketing platform. The role is fully remote, focused on manual testing, and requires close collaboration with Product, Design, and Engineering teams throughout the product lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Participate early in the development process to review requirements, identify risks, and raise questions before coding begins.
• Design and execute exploratory, functional, regression, and API tests, validating key user flows and edge cases.
• Investigate production issues using logs, monitoring tools (e.g., Sentry, Rollbar, Amplitude) and data queries (SQL/GraphQL).
• Document bugs clearly, prioritize testing based on product risk, and communicate quality risks to the team.
• Leverage AI tools to enhance test design, investigation, and documentation while maintaining critical thinking.

Required profile

• 3+ years of manual QA experience testing web applications.
• Strong understanding of software testing principles, test design, and risk‑based testing.
• Experience working in Agile, cross‑functional product teams.
• Ability to work remotely within CET ± 2 hours and be available daily between 9 am‑12 pm EST.

Required skills

• Exploratory, functional, regression, and API testing.
• Postman or similar API testing tools.
• SQL and GraphQL for data validation.
• Log and monitoring analysis tools (Sentry, Rollbar, Amplitude, etc.).
• AI‑assisted testing tools.
