About the role

Marriott International is seeking a proactive Recruiter to join its Human Resources team in Yerevan. The role supports management and the leadership team by handling a wide range of HR issues, from employee transfers to hiring compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Assist employees with internal and external transfer requests and procedures.
• Support managers and supervisors throughout the hiring process, including drug screens, reference checks, background checks, motor vehicle checks, and SSN verification.
• Maintain applicant flow logs, orientation records, and transfer request documentation.
• Create and manage new‑hire and personnel files in the Human Resources Information System (HRIS).
• Coordinate new‑employee orientation and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal hiring laws.
• Support payroll record processing and generate HR data reports as needed.
• Answer phone calls, record messages, and draft office correspondence.
• Serve as an HR subject‑matter expert on project teams and train new hires on HR processes and systems.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least one year of related HR or recruiting experience.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Professional appearance and clear, courteous communication skills.

Required skills

• Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) proficiency.
