Senior Budgeting and Cost Control Specialist

About the role

SoftConstruct is looking for a Senior Budgeting and Cost Control Specialist to partner with business units, provide financial insights, and drive cost‑optimization initiatives. You will play a key advisory role, integrating financial perspectives into strategic discussions and supporting data‑driven decision making.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with business units to analyse financial performance, revenue, cost and profitability trends.
• Develop KPIs and dashboards (using Power BI) to monitor departmental performance.
• Support monthly business reviews with data‑driven recommendations.
• Collaborate on budgeting and forecasting processes for assigned areas.
• Prepare scenario analyses and financial projections for decision support.
• Identify risks and opportunities in operations and assist in capital‑expenditure planning and ROI evaluation.
• Act as a financial advisor to operational teams and management, driving cost‑optimization initiatives.
• Ensure alignment between operational goals and financial targets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in financial analysis or business partnering.
• Strong knowledge of financial analysis and business partnering principles.
• Fluency in Armenian and English.

• Advanced Excel.
• Power BI.
• Financial modelling tools.
