Senior Finance Analyst – Financial Operations

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Finance Analyst to join The Flex, a fast‑growing global flexible‑accommodation platform. In this role you will sit at the centre of the company’s financial operations, providing insight into revenue streams, costs and profitability across multiple markets. You will partner directly with founders, senior leadership and cross‑functional teams to build the financial infrastructure that supports rapid scaling.

Key responsibilities

• Own and improve day‑to‑day financial reporting and controls, ensuring all figures presented to management are complete, validated and fully supported.
• Identify manual and repetitive finance processes, design more efficient workflows and collaborate with engineering to automate them.
• Reconcile payments from Airbnb, Booking.com, Expedia, direct bookings and other distribution channels, guaranteeing accurate and timely receipt.
• Reconcile bank accounts and incoming payments, resolve discrepancies promptly, and track accounts payable and receivable.
• Review supplier invoices and company expenses, and manage statutory filings and corporate compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
• Work with external accountants, tax advisers, auditors and banking partners to maintain accurate records and timely compliance.
• Build dashboards and reporting systems that give management real‑time visibility into performance.
• Analyse financial performance by property, city, country and business unit, and develop budgets, forecasts and financial models.
• Monitor cash flow, plan future capital requirements and identify financial risks or revenue leakage.
• Support financial due diligence for acquisitions, investments and new market launches.

Required profile

• Proven experience in finance analysis, reporting, budgeting and cash‑flow management.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
• Experience working with cross‑functional teams such as operations, revenue management and property management.
• Comfortable handling statutory filings and corporate compliance in multiple jurisdictions.
• Ambitious and motivated to grow within a fast‑scaling international business.
