Senior International Banking and Payment Relations Specialist

About the role

The Senior International Banking and Payment Relations Specialist will lead the development and management of relationships with global banks, payment service providers and other financial partners. You will ensure smooth, compliant payment operations across multiple jurisdictions while optimizing costs and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with international banks, PSPs and financial partners.
• Negotiate commercial terms, pricing and service conditions to optimise cost and performance.
• Oversee end‑to‑end onboarding of new payment systems and providers, including due‑diligence, documentation and go‑live support.
• Manage corporate bank accounts, process outgoing payments (wire, SEPA, SWIFT, local), and ensure proper authorisation.
• Perform regular reconciliations, investigate discrepancies and resolve settlement issues.
• Coordinate with technical and product teams during payment system integrations and testing.
• Ensure compliance with AML/KYC, sanctions screening and other international banking regulations.
• Analyse transaction data to improve approval rates, reduce costs and enhance efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in banking, payments, fintech or financial operations.
• Strong understanding of international payment systems and regulatory requirements.
