Senior SAP Retail Master Data Consultant

About the role

We are looking for a Senior SAP Retail Master Data Consultant to translate complex business requirements into best‑in‑class SAP solutions across multiple formats, channels, countries and business models. You will design, configure and deliver scalable master‑data solutions while collaborating with offshore teams and supporting European operating companies.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse business needs and propose SAP standard or localized enhancements supported by clear business cases.
• Create functional specifications, WRICEF documents and configure SAP IS Retail master‑data objects.
• Coordinate with offshore development teams to ensure technical alignment and quality.
• Conduct unit, functional and integration testing, and support user‑acceptance testing.
• Provide 3rd‑level functional support, application administration and troubleshooting for all European operating companies.
• Collaborate with peers across applications/modules to ensure seamless integration.
• Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities in partnership with internal stakeholders and external partners.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience implementing SAP applications from design to Go‑Live, with deep expertise in SAP IS Retail master‑data processes.
• Strong functional and technical knowledge of SAP IS Retail architecture, data model and master‑data objects (articles, sites, customers, vendors, pricing, hierarchies).
• Proven ability to deliver high‑quality SAP solutions based on complex business requirements.
• Experience in change management, training content creation and business‑process optimisation.
