Storekeeper-Lead

About the role

Marriott International is seeking a proactive Storekeeper‑Lead to manage inbound deliveries, maintain accurate inventory records, and ensure food‑safety standards across its Tsaghkadzor location. The role combines hands‑on warehouse duties with supervisory responsibilities, acting as a role model for the team.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and process all deliveries, verifying quantities, dates, and quality.
• Maintain inventory logs, complete requisition forms, and alert supervisors of low stock.
• Resolve discrepancies with suppliers, manage returns, and oversee vendor delivery issues.
• Inspect items for freshness, cleanliness, and compliance with food‑safety policies; reject damaged or non‑conforming goods.
• Organise pallets, remove empty pallets, cardboard, and waste, and ensure proper storage.
• Assign tasks, mentor team members, and ensure timely completion of work.
• Report accidents, follow safety training, and uphold company policies and confidentiality.
• Provide courteous guest service, answer phones professionally, and maintain positive working relationships.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant storekeeping or inventory experience.
• No prior supervisory experience required.
• No specific license or certification needed.
