Software Engineer – PHP/Symfony & Vue 3 (Remote)

About the role

We’re looking for a Software Engineer to help build our international platform for business events and conferences. The platform includes an attendee registration form builder and an API powering a mobile app for event schedules, networking, and tickets.

Key responsibilities

• Design new services and support existing ones.
• Build markup, develop widgets and UI.
• Cover changes with unit/functional tests.
• Design Doctrine entities and optimise MySQL.
• Integrate with third‑party services.
• Maintain technical documentation.
• Deploy and troubleshoot production issues.

Required profile

• Experience developing and maintaining PHP/Symfony applications in production.
• Experience structuring applications into modules with clear responsibilities and dependencies, familiarity with DDD.
• Experience building REST APIs and integrating services.
• Experience with Vue 3, including layout, UI behaviour, and API integration.
• Experience with MySQL and Doctrine: designing entities, reading query execution plans, and optimising slow queries.
• Testing as part of your normal workflow, comfortable with static analysis, architectural rules, and code‑style enforcement in CI.
• Habit of documenting what you build so the next person can pick it up.
• Ability to read/write technical documentation and tickets in English.
