Full-Stack Java/React Developer (With Astro)

About the role

We are looking for a Full‑Stack Developer with strong experience in Java and React to join a long‑term project for international clients. The role involves building modern web applications using Spring Boot on the backend and React with Astro on the frontend, all in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain full‑stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, React and Astro.
• Design, build and integrate RESTful APIs.
• Create responsive, reusable frontend components.
• Implement backend services and business logic.
• Work with PostgreSQL or MySQL databases and optimise performance.
• Collaborate with QA engineers, designers and other stakeholders.
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Contribute to architecture decisions.
• Write clean, maintainable and well‑tested code.

Required profile

• 4+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java and hands‑on experience with Spring / Spring Boot.
• Commercial experience with React.js and Astro.
• Solid understanding of REST APIs and frontend/backend integration.
• Experience with HTML, CSS and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Familiarity with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Good English communication skills and experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
