Accounting Specialist – Finance & Reporting

About the role

We are seeking an Accounting Specialist to ensure strict compliance with our accounting policies, coordinate with various internal and international departments, and handle extensive data sets within our accounting software environment.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor compliance with the company's accounting policy and related regulations.
• Liaise with other departments, including international teams, to ensure accurate financial information flow.
• Oversee document workflows to maintain proper record-keeping and audit trails.
• Process transactions using the designated accounting software.
• Work extensively with large datasets within the accounting system to support analysis.
• Manage settlements and reconciliations with counterparties.

Required profile

• Hold a higher education degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or Audit.
• Have professional experience as an assistant auditor, deputy chief accountant, accounting specialist, or financial controller.
• Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills in Russian and English.
• Possess experience in preparing management reports for senior leadership.
• Be able to prepare and interpret financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
• Ability to analyze large volumes of data and generate ad‑hoc reports upon request.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Experience using BAF accounting software.
