Engineering Supervisor

About the role

Courtyard, a Marriott International brand, is hiring an Engineering Supervisor in Yerevan, Armenia. The position supervises daily maintenance operations and assigns tasks to the engineering team, covering hotel equipment, systems and facilities. The job is full time and non-management.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily maintenance operations and assign tasks to the engineering team.
• Monitor and maintain hotel equipment, systems and facilities; inspect tools, equipment and machines.
• Conduct regular inspections and ensure preventive maintenance schedules are followed.
• Respond to maintenance requests and coordinate timely repairs.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and hotel procedures.
• Monitor the performance of HVAC, electrical, plumbing and other technical systems.
• Maintain maintenance records and report technical issues to the Chief Engineer.
• Support the team in troubleshooting and resolving technical problems.
• Install, maintain and recommend replacement of tools, appliances and equipment; calibrate controls, gauges and meters; identify and operate shut-off valves.
• Order, mark and stock parts and supplies, maintain the inventory and purchase orders log, and operate a power lift.
• Complete the life safety checklist, including fire-pump and generator run tests, and inspect fire sprinkler valves and alarm systems.
• Assist in developing disaster response protocols and respond to guest repair requests.

Required profile

• Previous experience in maintenance or engineering, preferably in a hotel.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving and team supervision skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Required skills

• Good knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC and general maintenance systems.
