IT Support Specialist – Global Tech Support

About the role

Join JetBrains' IT department to provide technical support for thousands of workstations, virtual machines and office equipment across our global offices. You will help keep the infrastructure running smoothly while assisting colleagues with hardware and software issues.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day technical support to all JetBrains employees.
• Set up new computers, repair and modernise existing hardware.
• Recommend and select appropriate hardware for specific use cases.
• Advise colleagues on hardware and software related questions.
• Maintain office IT equipment including computers, monitors, laptops, printers, copy machines, phones and video‑conferencing systems.

Required profile

• Ability to disassemble and repair computers and other devices.
• Capable of fixing operating‑system errors without resorting to full reinstall.
• Patient and polite communication with users experiencing issues.
• Understanding of local networks and Internet fundamentals.
• Enjoys tinkering with hardware and can perform basic soldering.
• Strong teamwork mindset, open to diverse opinions and able to justify decisions.
• Motivated to grow professionally and adopt new technologies.
• Previous IT help‑desk support experience.
• Fluent English.
