Manager of Budgeting and Reporting

About the role

VBET is seeking a Manager of Budgeting and Reporting to lead its annual budgeting, forecasting and management reporting processes. You will work closely with senior leadership and operational teams to turn complex financial data into actionable insights that drive strategic growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the full annual budgeting cycle, coordinating with all department heads to align budgets with corporate strategy.
• Develop and maintain rolling forecasts for P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow on a monthly, quarterly and 12‑month basis.
• Model financial impact of new market entries, product launches and major capital projects.
• Establish budget control procedures, monitor actual spend versus plan and identify cost‑optimization opportunities.
• Oversee preparation and delivery of weekly, monthly and quarterly management reports, including iGaming‑specific KPIs such as GGR, NGR, CAC, LTV and EBITDA.
• Conduct variance analysis and present key performance drivers to executive leadership.
• Prepare high‑quality financial presentations for the Board, senior management and investors.
• Lead, mentor and develop a team of budgeting and reporting analysts, driving continuous process improvement and standardisation.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of progressive FP&A or Management Reporting experience, with at least 2 years of people‑management responsibility.
• Strong communication skills in both Armenian and English.
• Proven experience in the iGaming, online betting or SaaS technology sector.
• Solid understanding of IFRS or GAAP accounting principles.

Required skills

• Expert‑level Microsoft Excel for complex financial modelling.
• Business Intelligence tools: Tableau, Power BI or Looker.
• ERP/EPM systems such as SAP BPC, Oracle or Anaplan.
• SQL and experience handling large datasets (data‑warehousing concepts a plus).
