Network Administrator

About the role

The National Center of Oncology is seeking a skilled Network Administrator to join its IT team. You will be responsible for designing, configuring, and maintaining the centre’s internal computer network while ensuring high security and performance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Configure, monitor and maintain the internal network infrastructure.
• Manage security tools including firewalls, antivirus solutions, and IDS/IPS.
• Diagnose and resolve connectivity and performance issues.
• Install, configure and support servers and networking devices.
• Update and manage network software and firmware.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, standards and operating procedures.
• Define, monitor and report on system and network requirements.

Required profile

• Ability to work independently and meet defined deadlines.

Required skills

• Windows Server administration (Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS).
• FreeBSD with ZFS.
• NAS/Storage solutions such as Synology or TrueNAS.
• Virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper‑V, bhyve).
• Networking infrastructure knowledge (VLAN, DNS, DHCP, routing, firewalls).
• MikroTik RouterOS or equivalent routing platforms.
• Automation scripting using PowerShell and shell scripting.
