Operational Excellence Business Analyst

About the role

SoftConstruct is looking for an Operational Excellence Business Analyst to drive efficiency across the organization. You will work closely with IT, finance and department heads to map processes, analyse data and implement automation solutions that deliver measurable cost savings.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support implementation of business‑process initiatives aimed at improving efficiency and effectiveness.
• Conduct process mapping, data collection and KPI tracking to define a clear business‑process taxonomy.
• Analyse operational data to uncover cost‑cutting opportunities and recommend improvement projects.
• Assess the financial impact of transformation initiatives using ROI and NPV calculations.
• Execute efficiency projects, monitor results and maintain performance dashboards.
• Collaborate with IT and holding‑company stakeholders to document requirements, test automation/RPA solutions and ensure successful rollout.
• Facilitate workshops and coach departments on continuous‑improvement practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Industrial Engineering, Finance or Economics.
• 2–4 years of experience in business analysis, operations or process improvement.
• Coursework or certification in Data Science, Project Management (e.g., CAPM or PMP) is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in Russian and English.
• Strong ability to translate business pain points into technical requirements for IT teams.

Required skills

• High proficiency in SQL for data mining.
• Advanced Excel for data analysis.
• Experience building automated dashboards in Power BI or Tableau.
• Knowledge of RPA or other automation technologies.
