Senior Backend Engineer II

About the role

Tabby is building an internal AI agent platform that will power automation and innovation across the business. As a Senior Backend Engineer II you will help design and implement the core services that enable large‑scale AI‑driven workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop backend micro‑services for the AI agent ecosystem.
• Integrate large language models (LLMs) and agent frameworks into core internal tools.
• Participate in architecture decisions, technology selection and scalability planning.
• Maintain high‑load, distributed systems using PostgreSQL, Redis, Kubernetes and GCP.
• Collaborate with remote engineering teams across 20+ countries.

Required profile

• 5+ years of backend engineering experience.
• At least 2 years of professional Golang development.
• At least 2 years of professional Python development.
• Experience with AI agent frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph or ADK.
• Hands‑on experience building or integrating LLM‑based features.
• Strong background in scalable, distributed, high‑load architectures.
• Fluent English communication (B2 level or higher) and ability to work independently.
