Senior Direct Response Creative Strategist

About the role

Happy Mammoth is seeking a Senior Direct Response Creative Strategist to lead the creation of high‑performing creative concepts for its eCommerce health‑supplement brands. This is a full‑time, fully remote contractor position that requires availability during EU business hours.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, pitch, and maintain a steady pipeline of direct‑response creative concepts tailored to Meta, TikTok, and YouTube.
• Brief and direct designers, video editors, and UGC creators to bring concepts to life.
• Design and execute iterative creative tests, structure hypotheses, and interpret performance data to optimise campaigns.
• Leverage platform‑specific nuances and audience cultural insights across Australia, the United States, and the EU.
• Collaborate with performance teams to ensure creative decisions are data‑driven.

Required profile

• Proven experience creating direct‑response creative for eCommerce brands, preferably in health or supplements.
• Demonstrated ability to generate scalable winning concepts, not just one‑off ideas.
• Strong background in direct‑response copywriting with expertise in hooks, angles, and pain‑point narratives.
• Comfortable working from performance metrics rather than intuition.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks and iterative creative optimisation.
• Availability to work during EU (GMT) business hours.
