Technical Screening Team Lead

About the role

Toptal is seeking a Technical Screening Team Lead to manage and grow its Talent Screening teams. In this remote position you will oversee screeners, design new screening initiatives, and ensure high‑quality talent enters the platform across business verticals.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage Screening teams to meet performance metrics and quality targets.
• Minimize turnover and maximize team satisfaction.
• Optimize team structure for supply changes, growth strategy, and capacity planning.
• Plan, create, and launch new screening initiatives and process updates.
• Collaborate with vertical subject‑matter experts to refine screening content.
• Support Vertical Lead and Business Screening Manager on customer‑centric screening standards.
• Act as escalation point for talent disputes and resolve issues promptly.
• Build out new talent specializations, including hiring needed screeners.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of screening policies, processes, and content.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading remote teams in a talent or screening context.
• Strong management, communication, organization, and analytical abilities.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with internal stakeholders.
• Experience with performance monitoring, metrics analysis, and process improvement.
• Fluent in English for all written and verbal communication.
