Full Stack Developer (Backend Focused)

About the role

Rounds is looking for a backend‑focused Full‑Stack Engineer to design and ship production‑grade server‑side features in Go while also contributing to React front‑end components. You will integrate AI/LLM functionality directly into the product ecosystem and use modern AI tools to accelerate development.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, build, and maintain scalable backend services and core platform systems using Go and Node.js/TypeScript.
• Design and ship AI/LLM integrations, intelligent features, and internal tools.
• Develop responsive user interfaces in React to deliver end‑to‑end functionality.
• Leverage AI tools such as Cursor, Claude, and GitHub Copilot to speed up coding, testing, and system design.
• Collaborate with the team to assess architecture risks, estimate timelines, and optimise performance.

Required profile

• 5+ years of commercial experience building large‑scale production systems.
• 3+ years of production experience with Go or Node.js/TypeScript (or equivalent backend language).
• Hands‑on experience building AI/LLM‑powered product features (RAG pipelines, agentic workflows, LLM API integrations).
• Proficiency in React and ability to move between front‑end and back‑end code.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
