About the role
The Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Associate will support the implementation of the "Organics Mobilized: Accelerating Social Transformation Towards Circular Bioeconomy" and "City Experiment Fund" projects. Working under the direct supervision of the Project Coordinator, the associate will ensure that monitoring, evaluation, learning and reporting activities are carried out in line with UNDP rules and project documentation.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, refine and apply the overall M&E framework for the assigned projects.
- Collect, verify and analyse quantitative and qualitative data using UNDP tools and methodologies.
- Prepare periodic monitoring reports, evaluation briefs and learning notes for internal and external stakeholders.
- Support partnership management by documenting contributions of partners and ensuring compliance with project indicators.
- Assist in administrative tasks related to project implementation, including documentation, filing and coordination of meetings.
Required profile
- University degree in social sciences, economics, environmental studies or a related field.
- Experience in monitoring and evaluation of development projects, preferably in circular economy or bioeconomy contexts.
- Familiarity with UNDP M&E guidelines and reporting standards.
- Strong analytical mindset and ability to work independently under supervision.
Required skills
- Proficiency in data collection, verification and basic statistical analysis.
- Ability to draft clear and concise monitoring and evaluation reports.
- Knowledge of UNDP project management and documentation procedures.
