Senior QA Engineer (Manual/Automation)

About the role
HAYWAY TECH ASIA develops intelligent software solutions for logistics and transportation, acting as the technology partner of SIS TRANS. It is looking for a Senior QA Engineer to lead quality assurance across web applications, APIs and backend services, designing and running manual and automated tests while using AI-powered tools to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
Required profile
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, test planning, defect management and root-cause analysis.
- Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and scripting languages.
- Experience testing APIs, web applications and distributed systems.
- Ability to validate AI-powered features and assess the quality of AI-generated outputs.
- Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Nice to have: experience testing AI/ML applications, chatbots or LLM-based solutions, and knowledge of prompt engineering and AI evaluation methods.
Required skills
- Test automation frameworks and scripting languages
- CI/CD pipelines, Git, Jira, TestRail and similar tools
- API and web application testing
