Director of Human Resources

About the role

The Director of Human Resources will join the property executive committee and report directly to the General Manager, while also collaborating with the Regional Senior Director of Human Resources. This senior leader will shape HR strategy, drive talent acquisition, succession planning, and performance management for the property.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the property’s Human Resources strategy aligned with business priorities.
• Lead engagement‑survey initiatives and translate results into actionable plans.
• Champion talent management and diversity strategies across the property and region.
• Coordinate human‑capital reviews, succession planning, and workforce planning activities.
• Monitor and promote effective use of the myHR system by managers and employees.
• Serve as change manager for high‑impact employee initiatives.
• Represent HR at owners’ meetings, providing insights on retention, open positions, satisfaction, and training outcomes.
• Supervise HR staff and ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Either a 2‑year degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field with at least 4 years of relevant experience, or a 4‑year bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years of experience.
• Proven ability to work independently and influence senior leadership.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the myHR HRIS platform.
