Senior Software Engineer – Full‑stack (PHP/Go/Node)

About the role

We are looking for a senior generalist engineer to join EveryMatrix in Yerevan. You will work across PHP, AngularJS, Go, Node and SQL, taking features from design through production while collaborating with product, QA and other stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Build and ship full‑stack features, including data models, APIs and UI components.
• Help split the existing monolith into services, defining boundaries and planning zero‑downtime migrations.
• Modernize legacy code where it adds value and write short design documents for non‑trivial changes.
• Own the shipped code: set up monitoring, alerts and perform fixes.
• Design schemas, write efficient queries and build reports used by operators.
• Review code, mentor teammates and contribute to technical best practices.

Required profile

• Solid experience building and running production software at a senior level.
• Strong expertise in PHP with the ability to pick up Go and Node.js as needed.
• Deep knowledge of relational databases, schema design and query performance.
• Proven track record of incrementally improving large legacy codebases.
• Daily use of AI‑assisted coding tools and ability to plan work for such agents.
• Commitment to writing tests and ensuring correctness for financial and reporting logic.
• Clear communication with product, QA and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Fluent English, both spoken and written.
